The snom UC Edition firmware combines the advantages of open standards-based IP telephony by using the SIP protocol to seamlessly integrate with Microsoft ® Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Lync and any other SIP based IP PBX inparallel.
Currently the snom 300, snom 370 snom 821 and snom 870 UC editions are now officially qualified for Microsoft Lync™ 2010 and Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 R2 client. They also work on Lync with the same featureset as Lync is backward compatible to it and supports existing 2007 R2 clients.

The snom 300 UC edition with snom Lync firmware is the first open-SIP-based IP desktop phone to natively register to the Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 R2 and Microsoft Lync. It has the best cost-performance ratio compared to all other compatible devices for Microsoft® Lync Server 2010.
