SmartGate is a single-line Analogue Fixed Cellular Terminal (FCT) suitable for small businesses and home workers. SmartGate can be connected to any analogue trunk or extension port on a telephone system. The FCT can be used for voice, GPRS data, SMS sending and receiving and PC Fax transmission. SmartGate includes a host of advanced features and functions to dramatically reduce call costs, these include:
Follow ME
This feature is useful for home workers with a standard analogue (or ADSL) line. Follow ME enables all incoming calls to automatically be forwarded to a mobile phone without incurring high network divert charges and landline to mobile costs.
Mobility Extension
This feature allows your mobile phone to become an extension off your PABX. Both the mobile handset and desk phone ring for all incoming calls - when either device is answered, the other stops ringing. If the call is answered on the mobile handset, all the features of the host PABX such hold and transfer are available on your mobile phone!

Sophisticated Routing
Thanks to the sophisticated Least Cost Routing (LCR) in our Analogue Fixed Cellular Terminals, all calls are always routed in the cheapest possible way. As a call passes through the FCT, the LCR selects the cheapest way for the call to be connected. For example, in it’s simplest form, a call to a mobile phone will be routed via the SIM Card to the GSM Network whereas a landline to landline call will be forwarded to the PSTN network.
Easy Connectivity
SmartGate and Omikron can be connected between your PABX and PSTN eliminating the need to install additional analogue ports or reconfigure your PABX. When connected to a PABX and a PC (LAN), EasyGate and SmartGate can be used for voice, data through GPRS, SMS sending and receiving and PC Fax transmission.
