ARCHITECTURE
The cutting edge architecture of boxedUC allows smooth operation of all the Microsoft server roles needed by the client. Here are some key aspects of the solution:
BoxedUC runs on a virtualized environment powered by Hyper-V running on Windows 2008 Server R2. Microsoft latest UC software editions are all supported in virtual environments.
A local Orchestration Service allows easy set up and control of the unit without requiring specific or deep UC skills.
boxedUC can easily be deployed to work in conjunction with existing Exchange servers, this is particularly beneficial for planned Exchange migrations. Users need only to sign-on once - boxedUC one-way trust functionality manages the link to other Active Directories exactly in accordance with the native Resource Forest Model rules, therefore a user has the convenience of accessing all permitted services simultaneously.

When system availability is very important and mission critical application support is required, boxedUC can be supplied in High Availability mode to further strengthen reliability of a system running on-customer premises.
MODELS
SILVER:
from a few users up to 250, the SILVER unit runs Exchange 2010 & Lync or Exchange 2010 and BlackBerry BES. Storage (pooled) for online data is available from 400GB and 1,3 TB.
GOLD:
supports up to 500 users, the GOLD unit can run all services required; choose from Exchange 2010, Lync, Sharepoint 2010 Foundation site and BlackBerry BES. Storage (pooled) for online data is available from 850GB to 1,75 TB. GOLD units supports High Availability integration and configuration with certified Voice/Media gateways.
SELF-GOVERNANCE SOFTWARE
All models are supplied with the MultiUx self-governance tool, developed by fabbricadigitale for the integrated management of Microsoft UC environments. This tool, accessible via a web console, SDK or mobile browser, allows the end user to self administrate all UC resources (users, mailboxes, DL, Lync users, parameters).
