Dialogic Blue EightSpan Octal PCI Express E1/T1/PRI Telephony Board, Hardware Echo Cancellation, Half Length Form Factor, Linux SW, with 1-year Support (VPUP) included

At the moment the Blue Product Line consists of one member, the Dialogic® Blue™ OneSpan-24/30-S-LP Telephony Board. "OneSpan" stands for 1 E1/T1 connection with 24 or 30 channels. "S" stands for software echo cancellation (free of charge), while "LP" stands for Low Profile form-factor. More members are planned to be added mid 2011, so that we can offer you a complete suite of products for different connection types and in different densities.

The supported features are well suited for Interactive Voice Response (IVR) along with call transfer emulation, G.711 support, Automatic Gain Control (AGC), and echo cancellation.

Dialogic Blue OneSpan-24/30-S-LP Telephony Board has no on-board CPU and no on-board DSPs. The host CPU provides the computing power for the functionality that an application requires. For this reason, the host CPU must be carefully selected to provide an appropriate feature set and system load capabilities. A system with 3MB L3 cache and 2.26GHz processor speed and 4 GB of DDR3 memory, for example, should be sufficient for most applications.

The high density Blue Telephony Boards planned for mid 2011 will have Hardware echo cancellation in order to off-load the host CPU. This will allow to chose lower priced host systems which consume less energy. There will be 4 high density boards available offering from one to eight Span connectivity. Their names will be Dialogic® Blue™ OneSpan-24/30-H-HL, Dialogic® Blue™ TwoSpan-48/60-H-HL, Dialogic® Blue™ FourSpan-96/120-H-HL and Dialogic® Blue™ EightSpan-192/240-H-HL Telephony Board. "H" stands for hardware echo cancellation, while "HL" stands for Half Length form-factor.

The Blue Telephony Boards are supported under the Linux operating system.

Applications such as large conferencing servers with echo cancellation normally require a more powerful host system and possibly more powerful telephony boards. Great care has been taken to allow for an easy upgrade from Dialogic® Blue™ Telephony Boards to Dialogic® Diva® Media Boards when increased scalability or an extended feature set is required.
