I have had this in use for about 1 month now in a standalone Asterisk box running on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS & Asterisk 1.8. This is a production box for work so I am using the LTS versions. This card worked straight away using the auto-config set up in Dahdi. I have 3 FXO lines coming in with caller-id setup and the call quality is generally very good. I occasionally get a bit of echo but very rarely and I suspect that is due to network or configuration issues. The hardware echo cancellation is definitely worth it having struggled with an SPA3102 and a Zoom 501 in the past. All my users are happy so the experience is a good one.
One warning - I wanted to use Asterisk in a virtual environment using Esxi but this card can not be seen by a VM so you will need to use this card in a dedicated box.
